PLOT: Four men from the city embark on a canoe trip down the Cahulawassee River in Georgia's back-country. Their peaceful outing turns into a nightmare as they become hunted by strange locals who know the woods much better than they do. Starring Burt Reynolds, John Voight, Ned Beatty and Ronny Cox, the movie's fame can be in part contributed to several disturbing but memorable scenes. AUTHOR: James Dickey
