Last night I watched Death Race in Blu Ray...my god, considering it had a very thin plot, weak script it was pure eye candy action sequences looked amazing...great movie!!!!

Also checked out Trick r Treat...not a bad little movie, nice how they have 4 seperate stories that all intertwine. Horror Anthologies don't usually do well at the box office so I can see why it went straight to video (Anna Paquin and Brian Cox were both pretty good). That little Sam character they created could become a horror icon (in the vein of the Jigsaw puppet from Saw)..It may have also been a bit short for theaters, credits rolled at the 74 min mark

Took the kids to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...cute little movie. Animation was pretty good. Watched it at the encore theater so no 3D. Still, entertaining and had some genuine laugh out loud moments...Any guesses as to what I had to make the kids for supper tonight?

Watched Porky's and Porky's III for the first time...I had only seen part 2 before and was basing the series on that one...wow, I was wrong. Pretty good movies even by today's standards. Still think Part 2 is pretty bad in comparison to the others...

Batman Begins
Psycho II
Big Trouble in Little China

There has been a glut of 3D movies and programmes on British Tv this week. 3D spex could be picked up free from supermarkets (although I have half a dozen pairs I've accumalated over the years around the flat). So This week I watched the wonderful Udo Kier in Flesh For Frankenstein in 3D (not seen that since it was first released back in the early seveties) and tonight we're going to check out Friday The 13th pt III in 3D

I also watched District 13:Ultimatum..which was 'les bolleaux de chiens'

Friday the 13th part 3 is tons of fun in 3D...it comes across lame when you see all the hokey stuff they tried without the 3D aspect...gotta love that eyeball shot!
