I recently purchased a region 1 copy of Neil Marshall's excellent (but sadly overlooked and under rated) post apocalypse flick Doomsday.

The cover states it's UNRATED and the disc contains both the Theatrical and the unrated version (it's not a double disc set, though). However when I put it in the player I expected the menu to give me the option of what version I watch..but it doesn't. It just comes up with the usual 'PLAY FILM'..SELECT SCENES'..AUDIO SET UP...and 'BONUS FEATURES'. It says on the disc quite clearly 1.UNRATED 2.THEATRICAL but I cannot find the other version for the life of me. Do you think it might be on the other side of the disc? Even though it just looks like a normal disc?
If anyone can shed some light on this I'd appreciate it..

Is your bisc a double sided disc? Like my copy of Ace Ventura wa s adouble sided disc on has the film the other special features.

I have a double sided disc copy of Enter the Dragon but on that, both sides of the disc are the standard shiny silver and the details of what's on each side is written around the 'run off groove' around the centre. My copy of Doomsday has a standard shiny silver side and one with the writing on it....

I haven't actually checked out the Special Features yet, though. Good idea! I shall check to see if the other version is in there..thanks.

Andrew...just wanted to say 'thanks' for pointing me in the right direction. The theatrical release was indeed tucked away on the second screen of special features...
