In my opinion two of the best/funniest shows ever!

Python I agree with but Little Britain is just catchphrase comedy. The same characters in a slightly different situation each week and the sketch ending the same way. That can sometimes work (Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse have proved that..) but LB (for me) became very old very quickly.

One of the funniest (and seriously underated) comedy sketch shows of the last 20 years (and can be compared to Python in it's use of sketches without 'punchlines') was the brilliant 'Alexei Sayle's STUFF'

True about LB. That said i still thinks its mad fun :D

I really like the sketch about the guy who makes people laugh at everything he says

Oh I found LB very funny to begin with but as I say..the humour factor ran out quick for me as they relied more and more on shock tactics for laughs..(the incontenant woman unaware she's pissing like a horse..Matt Lucas running around 'naked' in the 'Bubbles De Vere' fat suit..the WI woman who vomits copiuosly when coming in contact with anything 'foreign'...and Matt Lucas as 'Thai Mail Ordr Bride' Ting Tong was just just so offensive to Thais). So yeah..I went off LB pretty quick...but I now gather it's taking the US by storm with some specially created 'American Characters'...

The Python sketch you mean?..yeah a rare classic that's seldom trotted out in the compilation clip shows. One of my all time favs is from the very first series where Terry Jones goes into a police station to report a crime and each succesive policeman he speaks to can only understand what people are saying to them if they speak in a certain way (very high and screechy, very low and slowly..singing..shouting..etc)..it just cracks me up every time but again..not one of the so-called 'classic' sketches so it's not trotted out very often..

Yeah that one is brilliant!! So sad that people who watch only the compilations miss the best sketches

Finally watched some Little Britian yesterday, some friends dropped off a DVD, so far I like it. I love Tom Baker's narration.

His most funny quote (in my opninion) must be the first for Emily and Florence:

These men are trenvestite and prefer to dress like ladies. Myself am comfortably with both male and female clothing, since i was born without genetals

Cracked me up big time
