View Full Version : Folks, help me out-Kill Bill, or Nick-at-nite???
PrincesssTasha
Never saw it, however Pt. 1 is on Friday, and Pt. 2 is Sat. Is it worth it? I assume Bill is not quite dead at the end of part one...hence KILL BILL TWO I know I know, but what I wanna know is should I invest 2 nights in this? Or is it just a dragged-out, we-need-more-money-so-lets-make-a-sequal kind of thing???
I'll check back later or tommorrow-I have a cold, and I'm going back to bed:):).

Kill Bill was actually envisioned as a single movie, but Quentin Tarantino kept adding more and more he decided to make it into two. So, it doesn't suffer from sequel-itis, but it's really not that great - plus, network TV will edit it beyond insanity, so you'll miss a lot of what he intended. You're probably better off re-watching Reservoir Dogs.
. . . Or Nick at Nite.

Or rent the DVDs and enjoy the hell out of it. Unless "The Jefferson's" or "What's Happenin" is on Nic. ;)

i dissagree with aris i thought it was brillant but agree it will be crap n t.v. the best will be cut rent it and watch it! p.s. i thought it was to be a three part movie all to be released through out the same year and got edited into two movies. :)

Both the Kill Bill movies were enjoyable to me(particularly the second). But, I do agree that viewing them on t.v. will give you a nice butchered version; not worth watching if you want the full effect of the movies.

Yeah. Rent them. Watch them. They're both excellent.

The movie is bloody and violent so watching it on TV is a really bad idea.... Rent them... they are great fun
edarsenal
rent 'em in their full bloodiness if ya haven't seen 'em yet.
Nick will just edit them terribly and you'll miss out on FAR too much.
